Too Cold!!

Yes we did in fact file our tax return last night. No we aren't getting back any more than usual. Who knows when my kitchen will get done!! GRRRR anyway....

Can I just say what is going on??? I have been freezing for 2 weeks now! I never used to get cold! Last night we were sitting in the office and I had to steal Dave's coat to cover up my toes. I was shaking I was so cold. My cats are even cold! They have buried themselves under the blankets on our beds. Did I mention I live in South FLORIDA!!!! The boys of course think I'm crazy...oh to be young again lol.

This week in Twilight Club we're gonna make candied apples and take them to church. We always have dinner before Bible study so the girls will make dessert this week. Thankfully, Jennie, my partner in this obsession of ours had the idea and I think the girls will have fun with it. Everyone seems to be enjoying TC so far and I love getting to know all the girls better. Well I better sign off or there will be no room for pastor's part 2 devotional.

Have you ever wondered why me lord ??
Before you cry out again, please consider the following:

'If you have food in the refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roof overhead and a place to sleep you are richer than 75% of this world. If you have money in the bank, in your wallet, and spare change in a dish, you are among the top 8% of the world 's wealthy.'

'And if you get this on your own computer, you are part of the 1% in the world who has that opportunity. '

'If you woke up this morning with more health than illness ... You are more blessed than the many who will not even survive this day.'

'If you have never experienced the fear in battle, the loneliness of imprisonment, the agony of torture, or the pangs of starvation .. You are ahead of 700 million people in the world. '

'If you can attend a place of worship without the fear of harassment, arrest, torture or death you are envied by, and more blessed than, three billion people in the world.. '

If you can read this message, you just received a double blessing in that someone was thinking of you as very special and you are more blessed than over two billion people in the world who cannot read at all.

'If you can hold your head up and smile, you are not the norm, you're unique to all those in doubt and despair. '

So next time you feel like crying out to the Lord, crying out with a ‘why me.’ Do it with a glad and grateful heart as you say “Lord, why me?”
Count your blessings. Why me Lord? Why do you bless me so much?

It can only be because He loves each of us, His children, like we are an only child. Thank You Lord Jesus!!
