♥ Help Needed ♥

Hi there everyone,

I am writing to ask for your help with 2 things.

First, I have a fundraiser going for Milo's Dog Rescue of South Florida. This is a young rescue where all expenses come out of the owner's pocket and very few donations. The owner is a friend of mine and I am on the board of directors therefore I can personally vouch for the rescue. I am donating 15% of all sales. Right now, Stacy has a mama she rescued who ended up being pregnant. She assisted in the delivery of 7 pups. Six survived and she has done an amazing job as surrogate because the mom didn't care for them right away. To encourage shopping I am offering a small gift to anyone who purchases for this fundraiser. I am closing the event Sunday night, the 31st at 11pm EST. Secondly, I am in dire need of hostesses. My business is dying. We know today's woman is busier than any woman in the last century. I want to make hosting a party faster, easier, and more fun for you. You don't even need to have it at home!! And to encourage hostesses, I am offering an additional $25 in hostess credit!! Kitten Found - NE Pompano Beach, FL

Sooo today while out putting up signs for our sunrise service we ran into David. He works for the city of Pompano Beach and we wanted to know if we could put them on the bike path around the blimp base. We pulled up as he pulled to a stop. He said "I have a code###" we asked our question. He said "I have a code###" I'm getting annoyed. He says "there's a kitten stuck on the barbed wire on the top of the fence."  Kristin says "shut up" David replies "seriously". She gets out n looks. Bryan follows. She turns around to me "how is your heart not bleeding right now?" I'm thinking 'small zoo at home, still have a vet bill, cant do this'

I get out. David gets on top of his truck bed thingy. I stand beside the fence. He starts to lift n the kitten freezes. She grabs onto the barbs. I see she isn't impaled n tell him "shes just scared, pull her straight up". He lifts her up n hands her to me. She snuggles into my chest n buries her nose into my neck. I'm dying...

I know I can't keep her so I walk her around to the opening n place her down. She stays n cowers in fear. A dump tuck pulls up n we all chit chat. I try to convince the driver to take her. He says he would love to but the wife is allergic. I said "so am I, it's called benadryl" He isn't amused. David approaches the kitten n she bolts under the dump truck! Then she climbs up into the underbed! Seriously?! Driver slowly lifts the bed n David once again yanks her free. She again is in my arms n buried into my neck. What to do...

I decide I'll put her in a nearby tree n if she is still there once we finish the signs then I am meant to help her. We finish the signs. Then I go to see Stacy with Milo's Dog Rescue. Bryan n I help her with the pups. It has now been 2 hours since we saw Lilly. We go back. She is still there. I grab her n go straight to my vet Heroes. They cant take her. I go to another vet. No. But I have her checked for a microchip as she is extremely friendly n calm. None found. She is curled in Bryan's arms sleeping n purring on his lap. I call 4 rescues. Two answer n deny her. Two I leave messages with. Then I think ding ding!!! My friend Amanda works at Family Pet Medical in Ft Lauderdale. I call her. They agree to take her. Amanda texts me back she belongs to someone. She had very recently had a "procedure" done. I sent Kristin the pic of her and she said name her Lilly, for Easter Lillies. :)

You will need to describe her markings or have photographs of her. She will not be released to just anyone who walks in. If she is not claimed she will be vetted n put up for adoption. Lilly is the sweetest angel ever. She will bring years of happiness to the right person.

Save A Life

Ever wanted to help save the animals but didn't know how? Ever wish you could in some small way prevent a critter from being killed at a "shelter"? Well, I have teamed up with Stacy, the owner n founder of Milo's Dog Rescue of South Florida. This gal has rescued a couple dozen dogs and even a few kitties. She is currently doing everything with money from her own bank account. She isn't some huge 501c collecting hundreds of donations. She is one woman making a difference in the lives of animals one at a time.

March Already????

It's been a while, I know. A lot is going on. I am still with Thirty-One Gifts and loving it. I have also joined Melaleuca. I want my family healthy and I want my home toxin free. Right now, you can get your membership for $1. How awesome is that!

Pharaoh continues to open up. He did bite me 3x. He was into things he had no business being into and when I tried to take it from him, he attacked. I realize most people would have him killed, oops I mean put down, because of that. I however am not most people. I know he comes from abuse. I know he was neglected. I know he didn't respond out of anger but fear. Another situation arose. I yelled no and he actually dropped what he had. This happened again. He is learning that he can be disciplined and loved. He is incredibly intelligent and now comes to us for love. He barks at me when he wants me to play with him. I will never regret saving that pup!
