Building Spelling Skills

Although A² also includes spelling, I prefer this spelling course right now. The boys are doing great in it and enjoy the fact that it has a different lesson each day. I love the fact that it is very inexpensive and contained in one book. All you need is the student book and the teacher key. We can take it anywhere and usually have the lesson done before we arrive. It's cheapest at their website unless you find it on eBay or HomeSchoolClassifieds

Accelerated Christian Education

I love the ACE paces! It's very user friendly, has a free online diagnostic test and promotes a lot of reading. The paces are broken up so the child doesn't become overwhelmed. The repetition is amazing and it's so portable!!

Systematic Mathematics

Did you know that math is a language? It's true! And as such, it needs to be mastered. Too often curricula skips around or doesn't provide enough work to truly master each concept. Paul has written a curriculum that leads to mastery in mathematics! A plus is the fact that it is on dvd! Math is my weakness....not surprising from what I've read about the decline in schools. Now I'm learning along with my boys. His system is geared towards 6-9th grades. If we do advanced math after 9th, I have no idea what to do....
