wow.....what a week.....been working....a lot. Thank God too cuz we needed it bad! Yesterday I threw a 6lb chicken into the crockpot and dumped half a bottle of BBQ sauce on it. Set it on low and let it go all day. I think Dave fed the boys about 6pm. They pulled the chicken off the bones and made sandwiches for dinner. Well the chicken fell off the bones I should say. I had a sandwich when I got home from work and HOLY COW it was good. Who knew I could cook! LOL One of my Twilight Club girls moved away. :( Jazz we'll miss you sweety!!
In about 2 weeks I'm going to Orlando for a Tupperware convention. I used to love going to these things back when Kristin was on my team. We used to have so much fun together. Hopefully I'll still have fun. I know I will learn a lot and of course leave with a boatload of free Tupperware! And thanks to Kristin & Alice I now have an open house to do in a posh area. lol Should be fun! I'm gonna have to see if I can hook up Angela with her jewelry buz. K I'm done now. Onto a new book series! Well new to me....Oh and I read all the Morganville vamp books. They rock. Ta Ta for now....

Therefore if anyone cleanses himself, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work. 2nd Timothy 2:21
Every morning the owner of an antique shop meticulously polishes his beloved pieces of furniture until they gleam. Many shoppers stop at his display window to admire the beauty of these aged treasures.
It's no secret that this dealer knows how to present his goods to
their best advantage. He takes the dirty, the worn, the broken, and
transforms them into items of priceless value.
Similarly, Paul exhorts his fellow Christians to cleanse themselves
from the dust and debris of the soul so that nothing can keep them
from the noble purposes God has in mind for them. So that others outside the faith who look to believers and do not see immaturity.
Paul in this passage speaks plainly: flee that which hinders you from serving Christ wholeheartedly. Don't bother with senseless pursuits, and turn away from foolish conversations.
So each of us has to decide: Will I turn to the Lord and allow Him to burn away the dross from my life? Will I let Him replace it all with that which lasts forever?
The question is: Will I allow Him to have His way with me?
How do you answer?
